Jim Albin was born in the Fort Worth area and raised outside of Bridgeport, Texas. Though he grew up in a Christian home, he experienced a period of rebellion during his teenage years. Nonetheless, his friendships within the youth group at Balsora Baptist Church kept him attending services regularly. Despite having other interests at the time, Jim decided to attend a youth camp as a high school senior. It was during this camp in July of 2001, while reading Proverbs 23, that Jim felt convicted of his sins and gave his life to Christ.
After attending Weatherford College, Jim moved back to Fort Worth, where he met his future wife, Stacey, in 2006. The couple married in 2008 and began attending Calvary Chapel in Grapevine, Texas, in 2009. They ministered there until 2022. During their time at Calvary Chapel, Jim served in various capacities, including youth pastor, children's ministry director, and assistant pastor. Stacey was a steadfast partner in ministry, supporting and working alongside Jim throughout these years.
In 2022, the Lord led Jim and Stacey to Grandview, Texas, where they quickly became involved in ministry at Chambers Creek Baptist Church. Jim continued his education, earning a bachelor's degree from Grand Canyon University and pursuing a master's degree at Liberty University.
Jim and Stacey have two children: Noah, aged 10, and Lilly, aged 7. The family is passionate about sharing God's grace and the transformative power of His love. Outside of ministry, Jim enjoys spending time with his family, playing chess, and engaging in various sports. He prefers indoor activities, especially to avoid the sweltering Texas heat.

Tanner Bean was raised in the Wortham area and graduated from Wortham High School. Although he was raised in church, he did not give his life to Jesus until the age of 12, while at Cowboy Heritage Church of Freestone County. Once he did, a fire was set.
While attending Navarro College, Tanner served in the Baptist Student Ministry. At that time, he also served God with the youth at Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia, Texas. As he served and matured in his faith, God called Tanner to come back to FBC Wortham, to his old youth group. However, this time would be in a different capacity... youth pastor. Tanner became the leader of our FBC Wortham youth in 2024 and has enjoyed pouring Jesus’ life into each and every student.
Currently, Tanner is working on his degree at Tarleton State University. Along with being our youth minister, he is also a coach at Wortham High School, where he continues to affect the lives of kids. He loves football, video games, spending time with his family, and of course, his students.
