Luke 24: 1-12

Jesus' disciples and many others not mentioned in scripture left their jobs, homes, and gave up everything to follow Him. They were all in.

After the crucifixion, they thought they were completely wrong about thinking He was the Son of God. Did they just think He couldn't quite pull it off and get the job done? Did they think they just misunderstood Him? I'm sure many people wrote Him off as a liar. We do know they were defeated, confused, and in shock.

After it finally set in that He rose from the dead, I can imagine them sitting down and realizing, "We weren't wrong. He was right the whole time. He really is exactly who He said." May we never forget the power of His resurrection.

"...that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection."
